First Round concluded

Relese date: 2024-08-26
Accelpoint was the first to conclude the competition under the Startup Booster Poland – Smart UP path as part of the European Funds for Modern Economy (FENG) program. Each selected startup will receive up to 400,000 PLN in grants.

Accelpoint has just completed the final evaluation phase and will be the first to assist the startups selected in the competition. Out of over 100 applications, nearly 60 projects advanced to the next stage, where they had to submit a proposal and defend their idea during a pitch session. After more than 30 hours, experts choose 17 teams.

As part of the AccelBoost program, Accelpoint divided the teams into three paths. They selected four teams for the investment path, five startups will benefit from the GoGlobal path, and they assigned as many as eight to the OT path.

“We are proud to be the first to complete the recruitment for the first edition of the AccelBoost program under the Startup Booster path. We are excited to support innovative ventures and young companies with the potential to change the market and introduce new technological solutions. I would also like to thank all the partners and other evaluation committee members for their efficient work,” said Maciej Majewski, CEO of Accelpoint.

The program’s partners include LuCasco Insurance and Finance, EUVIC Services, SECO/WARWICK Group, Soneta (producer of enova365), Montis Capital, Orange, and Life Science Innovations Venture Capital Fund. Accelpoint adds that additional companies will join in the second round of recruitment.

Accelpoint will not reveal the list of winning startups until the contracts are signed, but this will be done as soon as possible. At the same time, the accelerator emphasizes that this is not the end.

The second round of recruitment for AccelBoost will begin in the second half of September.

W ramach ścieżki inwestorskiej wybrano 4 zespoły, z GoGlobal skorzysta 5 startupów a z OT aż 8.
