Santander Consumer Bank joins strategic partners of Accelpoint accelerator following AXA Partners and Orange Polska as a recipient of technology in the AccelUp programme which connects mature startups with corporations.
Cooperation with Santander Consumer Bank is strategic for Accelpoint. The #fintech path – the leading path in the AccelUp program – is enriched with a new recipient of technology, making our offer extensive in comparison with other accelerators in Poland. Startups that would like to take advantage of the opportunity to work with our new partner and thus develop their business on a global scale are welcome to apply for the entire duration of the programme – Dr. Michał Bańka, CEO & Co – Founder.
At Santander Consumer Bank, we approach cooperation with start-ups from a business perspective. Together we want to respond to specific needs reported to us by our employees or clients, Piotr Żabski, Vice President of Santander Consumer Bank, responsible for innovation issues. – Therefore, I am very happy that we are joining as a partner to one of the most energetic accelerators. I hope that together we will be able to develop solutions that will make the changing consumer finance market more efficient and effective in following the needs of its stakeholders. Startups that qualify for the program will receive financial support up to 200,000 PLN and know-how in the form of up to 100 hours of consultations with outstanding market experts. Startups will also have the opportunity to take advantage of a wide investment network, including the opportunity to pitch before the global fund Santander InnoVentures from Madrid or to participate in global startup events in Paris and Asia. AccelUp is a non-equity programme – the startup remains in control of all of its shares after completing the acceleration.
The programme is implemented in cooperation with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP). The Accelpoint Accelerator is a EU subsidy beneficiary under measure 2.5 – The Smart Growth Operational Programme: Acceleration Programmes.
